Job summary

The role requires strong software development practices, familiarity with Agile methods, and the ability to contribute across the full lifecycle from requirements through release

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in software development in a semiconductor, embedded software, firmware, platform software, or related engineering environment.
• Working knowledge of programming fundamentals, software design, debugging, and testing practices.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle processes and Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineering and business stakeholders and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, debug, test, and maintain software components in support of semiconductor products, platforms, tools, or embedded systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support successful product and software delivery; participate in technical discussions to clarify requirements and define interfaces.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following standards; support code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, defect resolution, and root cause analysis.
• Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, retrospectives, and release planning.
• Partner with technical teams to understand system architecture, integration points, hardware-software interactions, development constraints, and release requirements.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners; promote engineering discipline and continuous improvement.
