System One in Orlando is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for a contract role to develop real-time software in C/C++ on Linux for multi-core processors. You will integrate software and firmware to meet project specs and collaborate with cross-functional teams using Scrum/Kanban, GitLab, and Bitbucket, while maintaining security protocols for an active Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required with most recent investigation in last 5 years.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering from an accredited college.
• 5+ years of embedded C/C++ real-time software development experience using Linux on multi-core processors.
• 5+ years of hands-on software/firmware integration experience.
• 3+ years of experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) using GitLab and Bitbucket.
• Working knowledge of Yocto operating system (preferred).
• Familiarity with Data Distribution System (DDS) middleware programming (a plus).
