Wabtec is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer in the Town of Florida, NY, to design and develop innovative solutions for train control requirements. You will focus on delivering high-quality embedded software applications, provide technical solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science and at least 2 years of experience in software design and development. Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in embedded real-time software design and development.
Experience with a wide variety of peripheral bus interfaces such as RS-422, CAN, I2C, SPI, Ethernet.
Knowledge of debugging techniques and ability to interact at hardware level.
Responsibilities
Develop multi-threaded C/C++ applications running under embedded RTOS.
Provide technical support to cross-functional teams of Software, Hardware, Test, and Systems Engineers.
Collaborate with project managers and other leads to determine scope of work and resource assignments.
