Job summary

You will collaborate with management, project teams, production, and other groups to deliver market-leading products with positive patient outcomes. The role involves writing software specifications, implementing tests, and applying standards, with opportunities to lead projects and contribute across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or related field with relevant software experience.
• Experience writing software for capital equipment or medical devices is a plus.
• Experience in C/C++ programming and software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop software specifications including integration and standards/regulations.
• Assist in software development tasks including design, integration, and testing.
• Plan, prioritize and execute tasks with cross-functional teams within deadlines.
• Design, test, verify and validate software components for capital equipment.
• Execute projects within time, scope, and budget constraints.
• Implement and test advanced software security techniques.
• Participate in design reviews and risk assessment activities.
• Prepare test cases, plans and procedures with QA team.
• Develop software test methods and improve existing software.
