Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• Experience developing embedded software in C/C++.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply to firmware development.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software for ivWatch medical devices.
• Develop firmware in C and C++ for microcontroller-based systems.
• Implement peripheral drivers (SPI, I2C, UART, GPIO, timers, DMA).
• Design and debug interrupt-driven and real-time embedded software.
• Develop software using FreeRTOS or similar RTOS.
• Build, cross-compile, and debug firmware for MCUs (ARM Cortex-M).
• Read and interpret schematics to support firmware development and debugging.
• Use lab equipment to troubleshoot hardware/software interactions.
• Participate in software architecture, design, and peer code reviews.
• Develop modular, maintainable, and testable software with best practices.
• Develop unit tests in C/C++ and Python-based tools.
• Use Git for version control and collaboration.
• Investigate and fix defects identified during development and validation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
• Contribute to a collaborative fast-moving engineering culture.
