Axis Communications in Lund, Sweden is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for its Product Platforms team. You will work on video product platforms and frameworks, collaborating with partners to ensure cutting-edge technology and high quality in Axis products.

The role is office-based at Axis HQ in Lund, with occasional travel to vendors to align platform requirements and improvements. A strong background in embedded Linux, C/C++, Python, and mentoring is desired.

Qualifications

• Broad experience in overall system design and implementation.
• Strong programming skills in embedded Linux, C/C++ and Python.
• Experience with technology and platform integration.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with version control and code review tools (Git, Gerrit).
• Mentoring other team members on technology projects.

Responsabilités

• Work as a software developer on video product platforms and frameworks.
• Collaborate with Axis technology partners to ensure best platform and system agenda.
• Travel occasionally to vendors in US and Asia to evaluate and improve platforms.
• Contribute to keeping Axis as a technology leader in a competitive market.
