Job summary

Blue Ribbon Global Technologies in Oak Brook, IL seeks a Jr Software Engineer to join our embedded systems team. You will design and develop software that meets business needs, write clean code, and collaborate with engineers, QA and PMs.

The role requires a BS in CS/CE/SE or related field and 1–2 years of embedded software experience. Proficiency in C++ (14/17) with threading, Linux, version control, and debugging tools is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• 1–2 years of experience developing software for embedded systems.
• Must have C++ (14 / 17) experience with knowledge of threading.
• Proficiency with the Linux Operating System.
• Experience with software development tools, version control systems, and debugging environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle processes and engineering best practices.
