We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Engineer to develop cutting-edge robotics software for computer vision-enabled agricultural systems. In this role, you will work on high-performance image signal processing, embedded C/C++ development, and real-time optimization for robotics computing platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical challenges, enhance sensor performance, and implement algorithms that drive precision and efficiency. Accountabilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and debug embedded software, image processing stacks, and device drivers for robotics applications in C/C++ and Python.
- Implement and optimize image signal processing algorithms for See & Spray systems, including demosaicing, color correction, tonemapping, and video pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to address complex system-level challenges.
- Optimize algorithms and processing pipelines for real-time performance on edge and cloud platforms.
- Quantify, measure, and improve software quality under diverse environmental and scene conditions.
- Contribute to continuous integration, testing, and deployment of embedded software systems.
- Stay current with emerging computer vision, machine learning, and robotics technologies to inform development practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in embedded software development using C/C++ and Python, including CUDA programming.
- Strong experience with Linux environments and real-time software optimization.
- Proven ability to develop and tune algorithms for image signal processing applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and familiarity with testing and continuous integration practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Preferred: experience with Linux kernel device drivers, computer vision models (CNN), V4L2, OpenCV, PyTorch or TensorFlow, and prior work in machine learning or ISP projects.
