Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Intern in Software Engineering in Melbourne, FL. You will apply CS, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts to develop software for the target application and work with cross-functional teams to design interfaces between hardware and software.

You’ll support all phases of the software development life cycle, write test procedures and documentation, and gain exposure to embedded real-time systems across platforms including Windows, Linux, and RTOS

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a related field at an accredited university.
• Familiarity with embedded systems and real-time software.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages listed (C++, C, Java, Python, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Apply CS, engineering, and math concepts to software for the target application.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design hardware-software interfaces.
• Support all phases of the software development life cycle for embedded software.
• Develop test procedures and related documentation.
• Use modeling tools to establish operating data and conduct tests.
• Participate in peer reviews and track defects.
