Job summary

CNH is offering an Embedded Software Engineer Intern role within its Internship Program. You will work on embedded software for agricultural control systems, gaining exposure to navigation, guidance, and control technologies.

The position emphasizes mentorship, hands-on experience, and growth opportunities during a May–August internship term. Summer interns work full-time (40 hours/week) from May through August; candidates must be currently enrolled in a related degree program.

Qualifications

Pursuing at minimum a Bachelor's degree in one of the listed majors: Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Ag Engineering, Software Engineering.
Currently enrolled college student actively pursuing a degree to participate in the internship program.
Summer interns work full-time (40 hours per week) from May through August.

Responsibilities

Supporting embedded software development and testing for agricultural control systems.
Collaborating with guidance and control teams to solve navigation and controls challenges.
Working with Linux embedded systems, C++, and sensor integration to support autonomy features.
Researching, writing, developing, testing, and evaluating embedded software programs.
Facilitating deployment and integration of embedded software with hardware platforms.
Assessing feasibility and integration between hardware and software.
Creating and updating documentation for software design and project phases.
Collaborating with external customers and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot issues.
