Job summary

Collins Aerospace, RTX's leading aerospace and defense unit, is hiring a Software Engineer II to support the Mission Systems Resilient Connectivity Products in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. This onsite role focuses on designing, developing, integrating, and testing embedded software for aircraft connectivity products.

You will collaborate with FPGA, hardware, systems, and software teams, using C++, Python, Ada, and Linux, and you must be able to obtain a DoD secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree with 2 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree.
• Experience with embedded development using OO design.
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate and test embedded software for aircraft connectivity products.
• Collaborate with FPGA, hardware, systems and software teams to embed tech across product portfolio.
• Prepare software builds and embedded test solutions for hardware qualification and releases.
