Job summary

Ultra Maritime in the United States is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team developing embedded software for airborne receivers. You will lead development and maintenance of legacy code and collaborate with Program Management and customer representatives.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, 6+ years of experience in embedded software, and the ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• 6+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Experience with embedded Linux and DSP concepts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide embedded software development support for airborne receivers.
• Support new development and maintenance of legacy code.
• Define requirements, design software, write code, test, and document efforts.
• Collaborate with Program Management, other project members, and customer representatives.
• Participate in bi-weekly software meetings.
• Occasional travel to offsite facilities.
• Other duties as required.
