Job summary

Red Cat Holdings is seeking a hands-on, mid-level Software Engineer to develop, integrate, and maintain software for unmanned maritime systems. You will collaborate across software, mechanical, electrical, and networking teams to support onboard computing, video services, telemetry, and third-party integrations.

The ideal candidate has strong Python and C++ skills, Linux experience, and familiarity with embedded systems.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and working proficiency in C++ for embedded and maritime systems.
• Experience deploying and debugging software on Linux-based platforms.
• Familiarity with Git, GitLab or equivalent, including branching and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Python and C++ applications for unmanned maritime platforms.
• Integrate third‑party sensors, cameras, radar, comms, and software.
• Support telemetry, remote monitoring, and video streaming applications.
