Green Key Resources is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer in Manchester, NH to develop and integrate software for defense-focused unmanned systems. You will work across disciplines to deliver reliable, high-performance software from concept to deployment.

Responsibilities include designing, debugging, and validating embedded code, deploying flight and ground-control software, and collaborating with hardware teams. Strong C/C++ expertise and RTOS experience are required.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, with 5+ years of embedded software development experience or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong programming experience in C and C++.
• Experience developing software for embedded systems; background in aviation or vehicle control systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with RTOS and integrating embedded software with devices such as EEPROMs, FPGAs, and ASICs.
• Experience with autonomous or semi-autonomous systems is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of embedded interfaces and protocols such as I2C, UART, USB, MIPI, or similar.

Mansioni

• Contribute to development of new products from concept through testing and production.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, systems, and software engineers, PM, suppliers, and customers.
• Design, implement, debug, and maintain embedded software following CM and QA practices.
• Develop, configure, integrate, and deploy flight and ground-control software across platforms.
• Support evaluation and selection of components (microprocessors, microcontrollers, memory).
• Troubleshoot hardware, firmware, and software integration issues with electrical engineers.
• Develop test infrastructure and tools to support system validation and performance testing.
• Create technical documentation on software, testing, configuration, and system operation.
• Analyze problems, identify root causes, and develop solutions to improve performance.
