Job summary

Waymo's Compute Team is hiring a software engineer to design and implement a full stack solution from firmware and low-level drivers to APIs for ML accelerator chips. You will analyze and optimize firmware and driver performance for demanding AI workloads, and collaborate closely with hardware engineers through ASIC design and verification.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software development.
• Baremetal or RTOS firmware development experience.
• Experience with embedded architectures and hardware interactions.
• Strong C and C++ skills.
