Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a senior embedded software engineer to lead development within an agile team. You will review feature requirements and translate them into Simulink or C implementations, maintain functional specifications, and coordinate with the supplier software team to ensure smooth vehicle launches.

The role requires strong C skills, extensive embedded software experience, and a background in automotive ECUs.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related Field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of Embedded Software Experience, Body Control System preferred.
• 5+ years of programming in Embedded C, MATLAB Simulink, and Stateflow.
• Strong C programming skills and portable, platform-agnostic code.
• 3+ years creating Proof-of-Concept applications for automotive ECUs.
• 2+ years in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

This position is a salary grade 5-8, and ranges from $68,300-$192,900.

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
