Job summary

Valiant Technologies LLC seeks an expert Embedded Software / Firmware Contractor to design, implement, and optimize high-throughput multi-threaded software for embedded Linux on AMD Xilinx FPGA/MPSoC and RFSoC architectures.

You will accelerate workloads with ARM NEON, develop software drivers to interface with FPGA IP, and profile for deterministic performance, delivering production-grade code and thorough hand-off documentation.

Qualifications

• Expert C/C++ for embedded Linux environments.
• Proficient with ARM NEON SIMD intrinsics and assembly.
• Experience with Xilinx Zynq MPSoC/RFSoC platforms and PetaLinux.
• Deep hardware interfacing knowledge: AXI4, PCIe, AXI DMA, memory mapping.
• Strong multi-threaded, real-time POSIX scheduling experience.
• Familiar with cross-compilers, debuggers, build systems and Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-throughput multi-threaded software for embedded Linux.
• Accelerate workloads using ARM NEON SIMD intrinsics and assembly.
• Develop software drivers/interfaces for AXI DMA and PL IP blocks.
• Profile, diagnose bottlenecks, and tune for deterministic performance.
• Deliver production-grade code with architectural notes and build/test docs.
