Job summary

Cintal, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to support the Precision Mining group within the Robotics division. You will design, develop, integrate and test software on embedded electronic controls for hyperspectral analysis in mining applications.

The role requires 2–4 years of experience with C/C++/Python and ROS1/ROS2. Visa sponsorship is available; candidacy is eligible for work in the United States, with relocation support considered.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This position is for a Software Engineer to support the Precision Mining group within the Robotics division. The individual hired for this position will work as part of an engineering team to design, develop, integrate and test software features on embedded electronic controls for use in Precision Mining application with hyperspectral analysis.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Years of experience: 2-4 years
• Degree requirement: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required; Will accept master’s degree with 1-2 years of industry experience.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Strong coding in C, C++, Python
• Proficiency with ROS1 or ROS2
• Proficiency with OpenCV/ML Learning Development
