Automation Experts is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join a hands-on team developing advanced scientific and industrial equipment. You will work across PLC, embedded and PC-based control systems, collaborating with electronics, HMI/GUI and control systems specialists.

The role requires experience with C/C++, C#, Python, Ladder Logic and structured text, plus a readiness to travel within the UK and overseas. A 4+ year track record in industrial automation is preferred.

Formación

• Experience in software, embedded controls or electronics engineering.
• Strong knowledge of electronics and analogue/digital systems.
• Experience with embedded control systems or microcontrollers.
• Strong software development and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with GUI/HMI development.
• 4+ years' relevant industrial experience preferred.
• Experience with scientific equipment, vacuum technology or bespoke automation advantageous.
• Willing to travel within the UK and overseas.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain PLC, embedded and PC-based control systems.

• Maintain technical documentation, version control and engineering records.
• Work closely with engineering teams and customers to deliver effective solutions.

Embedded Software Engineer - The Role:

• Degree in a relevant discipline desirable, but relevant experience will be considered
