Job summary

Actalent is seeking an experienced embedded firmware engineer in Colorado to design and develop software for water quality instrumentation across Linux, RTOS, and bare-metal platforms. You will collaborate with hardware teams to integrate firmware with electronics, implement low-level communications, and contribute to CI/CD practices to ensure high-quality delivery in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires 3–5+ years of hands-on embedded C/C++ experience on 32-bit MCUs, and strong

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science with 3–5+ years of embedded C/C++ experience.
• Experience with 32-bit microcontrollers and low-level hardware interaction.
• Proficiency with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
