Job summary

LanceSoft, Inc. is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain software that runs directly on hardware. You will collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure tight integration and high performance of embedded systems.

Candidates should have strong C programming skills for embedded and experience with bare-metal and RTOS firmware, Cortex-M33 (EFR32), and debugging with J-Link, SWD, or GDB. This is a hands-on, on-site role in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Qualifications

• Embedded software design, development and maintenance for hardware systems.
• Work with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration and performance of embedded systems.
• Experience with Cortex-M33-based devices is highly relevant.

Job Specific Requirements

• The Embedded Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software that operates directly on hardware systems.
• This role involves working closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of embedded systems.

• Embedded C (mandatory)
• Bare-metal and RTOS-based firmware
• Interrupt-driven architectures
• DMA, timers, watchdogs, GPIO, UART, SPI, I2C
• Bootloaders and firmware update systems
• Debugging with J-Link/SWD/GDB
• The Silicon Labs EFR32 family is ARM Cortex-M33 based, so Cortex-M experience matters directly.

Required Wireless Experience

• Proprietary sub-GHz protocols
• Low-power wireless sensor networks
