Job summary

Cryptic Vector is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to develop software close to the hardware, in embedded Linux or bare-metal environments. You will design, develop, and implement solutions for complex government technical challenges, interact with embedded hardware, and grow rapidly within a mission-driven team.

The role emphasizes learning new languages, expanding technicalrange, and taking on real responsibility to make an impact in high-stakes environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in embedded software development
• Experience with Yocto/RTOS/Bare metal software deployments
• Be detail oriented and an analytical problem solver
• Current Active Top Secret security clearance required
• Willingness to learn new skills and the desire to constantly grow and become a better engineer

• Formulating testing strategies for implemented code and executing those strategies
• Learning new programming languages as necessary to control or interact with existing software or embedded hardware platforms

Embedded Software Engineer
