Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC seeks an senior embedded software engineer in the United States to design, code, test, and support real-time embedded systems for aerospace applications.

Requirements include 10+ years in embedded software, DO-178B/C knowledge, and proficiency in C, C++, and Python. Candidate must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Strong understanding of DO-178B/DO-178C standards.
• Working knowledge of C, C++, and Python.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Knowledge of designing new software systems using object-oriented design principles.
• Demonstrated technical leadership capability for working with internal organizations and external customers.
• Air/ground messaging protocols ARINC 429, ARINC 618, VDL Mode 2, TCP/IP, ATN OSI.
• Knowledge of aircrew human-machine interface design.

• Design and code based on low-level software requirements.


• Build, test, and deliver real-time embedded software to target environments in support of program and customer commitments.


• Assist with system-level testing, working closely with cross-functional areas to coordinate desired solutions, document problem reports, and support resolution activities.


• Participate in design and code reviews with other members of the team to identify and eliminate problems early in the development process.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of embedded software development experience.


• Strong understanding of DO-178B/DO-178C standards.


• Working knowledge of C, C++, and Python.
