Job summary

MORSE Corp is a small, employee-owned company based in Cambridge, MA, with a history of fielding cutting‑edge technology for the US National Security community. The Embedded Software Engineer Co-op will develop software to support hardware/software integration or UAS R&D programs, spanning the full design cycle from concept through deployment.

In this role you will integrate novel algorithms with software, run simulations to support integration, and assist flight tests to evaluate software

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS or MS in relevant engineering field.
• Strong knowledge of C/C++, Python, and Rust.
• Experience with RTOS and embedded communication protocols.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software for hardware/software integration.
• Update and run simulation software to test new capabilities.
• Interface with SMEs to integrate algorithms into vehicle platforms.
• Support flight tests including setup, checkouts, ground station operation, and data analysis.
• Communicate design status and test results clearly and promptly.
