Job summary

MORSE Corp in Cambridge, MA is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer Co-op currently pursuing a MS degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Qualifications

• Pursuing MS degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong proficiency with C/C++, Python, and Rust.
• Experience with RTOS and embedded communication protocols (UART, I2C, CAN)
• Experience with control hardware setup (telemetry harness, radio configuration, power system)
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software
• Updating and executing simulation software to test and evaluate novel capabilities
• Interface with technology SMEs to integration new algorithms and subsystems into vehicle platforms
• Support flight tests, including setup, system checkouts, ground station operation, log retrieval and analysis, and debugging
• Communicate design status, test results, and suggestions in a timely and efficient manner
