Job summary

HCLTech is seeking an Embedded Tester (SIT) to join our team in Alameda, CA. This full-time, onsite role focuses on testing for a highly safety-critical handheld medical device, with no design/development work required.

The candidate will understand C language designs for micro-controllers in non-RTOS and RTOS environments, as well as GUI designs in C++. Responsibilities include requirements analysis, identifying gaps, test scenario development, and hardware selection for system testing, along

Qualifications

• Experience in requirements analysis and identifying gaps for safety-critical devices.
• Hands-on test planning and execution for embedded handheld medical devices in C/C++.
• Knowledge of design in C for microcontrollers (Non-RTOS/RTOS) and GUI in C++.

Responsibilities

• Perform requirement analysis and identify gaps.
• Identify test scenarios for input documents and design specs.
• Identify relevant test hardware for system testing.
• Develop software integration test plans and protocols, and execute per medical SW process.
• Perform regression analysis on C/C++ code with HW awareness.
• Participate in requirements, design, and code review meetings.
