Job summary

Two Six Technologies in Herndon, Virginia, is seeking an Embedded Security Software Engineer to join our Trusted Electronics & Effects team. You will work on reverse engineering tasks, firmware analysis, and forward development for wireless and embedded systems, with emphasis on emulation and rehosting in QEMU.

The role requires hands-on experience with C/C++, Python scripting, and tools like Ghidra, IDA Pro, or Binary Ninja.

Qualifications

• Core Development & Scripting: C/C++ and Python scripting in Linux environments.
• Reverse Engineering Tooling: Ghidra/IDA Pro/Binary Ninja for firmware analysis.
• Emulation & Rehosting: Enable firmware rehosting in emulation like QEMU.
• Security Clearance: Active Top Secret with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to reverse engineering and forward development of wireless and embedded systems.
• Perform binary and file system analysis to map undocumented targets.
• Operate under supervision, following policy-based decisions.
• Translate reverse engineering insights into functional software for emulation environments.
