Synapticon GmbH in Schönaich (near Stuttgart) invites MSc students to join the Safety Software team as an Embedded Safety Tooling & CI/CD Intern for six months, a mandatory internship. You will extend CI/CD pipelines, automate test reports for TÜV, and integrate static analysis tools to support MISRA C compliance, with a focus on software quality and safety.

The role offers flexible start dates, an international team, and a modern office; you will gain hands-on experience in an IEC 61508

Qualifications

• Enrolled MSc student in CS, EE, or SE with practical interest in software quality.
• Strong Python skills, Bash, CMake, and Git in a fast-moving dev env.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Jenkins).
• Able to read embedded C and MISRA C constraints; understanding is sufficient.
• Genuine interest in software quality and safety tooling.

Responsibilities

• Extend CI/CD pipelines and automation infrastructure.
• Automate test report generation for TÜV evidence packages.
• Integrate static analysis tools into the development workflow.
• Implement code coverage measurement and visualization to guide testing.
