Job summary

Ultra Intelligence & Communications in the Mission Solutions unit seeks an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize embedded software for critical platforms, focusing on C and Rust code bases. Travel about 5% for customer meetings and field testing.

You will work across requirements, ICDs, SHRS/SHDD, unit and integration tests, and collaborate in Agile/Waterfall environments while staying current with embedded and Rust technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years embedded software development, C-to-Rust conversion, low-level design.
• ARM-based systems integration with firmware experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software focusing on C and Rust.
• Create and maintain SHRS/IRS, ICDs and Design Descriptions.
• Develop unit, integration and acceptance tests.
• Manage software configuration control in Agile/Waterfall environments.
• Provide progress updates to stakeholders and drive improvements.
