Job summary

IERUS Technologies is seeking an Embedded Developer to design, develop, and validate embedded software within prototype RF systems and test apparatus used to validate radar processing algorithms. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to integrate software and hardware into a high-quality prototype.

Responsibilities include crafting embedded interfaces, implementing firmware, developing radar processing software, and creating user GUI and test documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering.
• Knowledge of or experience in digital signal processing techniques.
• Experience with Xilinx Vivado and Petalinux builds.
• Experience with VHDL/Verilog.
• Experience with C/C++.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, and/or other scripting languages.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Design embedded interface architecture to system level requirements.
• Implement firmware to interface PS/PL and other components.
• Develop software to implement radar processing algorithms.
• Generate interface documentation between software/firmware interface.
• Develop user GUI and manual for test team to execute tests.
• Analyze data to determine root cause of failure and generate reports/presentations.
• Work with engineers across IERUS locations to coordinate development capability to meet program development milestones.
