Job summary

IERUS Technologies, Inc. in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Embedded Developer to design, develop, and validate embedded software for prototype RF systems and test equipment used to validate radar processing algorithms.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to integrate software and hardware components, implement firmware interfaces, develop radar processing code, and produce user guides. A current Secret clearance and willingness to travel up to 25% are required.

Qualifications

• Active Secret or higher clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering.
• Experience with digital signal processing techniques.
• Experience with Xilinx Vivado and Petalinux builds.
• Experience with VHDL/Verilog.
• Experience with C/C++.
• Proficiency in MATLAB or Python.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Overview:

Required Qualifications:

• Must have an Active Secret Clearance or higher;
• Bachelor's in electrical or computer engineering;
• Knowledge of or experience in digital signal processing techniques;
• Experience with Xilinx Vivado and Petalinux builds;
• Experience with VHDL/Verilog;
• Experience with C/C++;
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, and/or other scripting languages;
• Ability to travel up to 25%; and
• Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Requirements:

• Current SECRET security clearance.
• Experience with realtime operating system embedded development;
• Knowledge of data analysis techniques;
• Experience with MOSA VPX chassis configuration and development;
• Familiar with gnu compiler options and build tools (make, cmake, etc.); and
• Active or ability to obtain TOP SECRET security clearance.
