Job summary

abra R&D in Israel is seeking an Embedded QA & Integration Engineer to join a hands-on, multidisciplinary team working on mission-critical embedded systems. The role focuses on system-level and integration testing of real-time embedded products, combining laboratory testing, field integration, and in-depth troubleshooting.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Northern Israel, with no hybrid option.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of proven QA\/System Testing experience in embedded systems.
• Proven experience writing and executing detailed test cases for complex systems.
• Experience with system-level and integration testing.
• Experience reading and analyzing logs and system\/communication traces.
• Familiarity with Wireshark, network sniffers, or similar diagnostic tools.
• Experience working with laboratory test equipment and physical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on manual testing of complex embedded and real-time systems at the system and integration levels.
• Plan, write, execute, and maintain detailed test cases and test scenarios.
• Perform end-to-end integration testing of the product as a complete system.
• Analyze requirements and technical specifications and translate them into thorough test scenarios.
• Work with laboratory test equipment and perform practical system setup, including connecting equipment, interfaces, and cables.
• Troubleshoot and investigate failures using logs, network traces, Sniffer\/Wireshark, and other diagnostic tools.
• Test interfaces and interactions between the product and external systems.
• Perform integration activities at customer sites when required.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and investigate defects to help determine their root cause.
• Work closely with Embedded, Software, Hardware, System, and Integration engineers to ensure high test coverage and product quality.
• Work with Jira for defect tracking and test-related activities.
