Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking an Embedded Software Development Engineer II (C/C++) to help build scalable automation and analytics services for AWS EC2 VPC networking.

You will contribute to frameworks for fault detection, remediation, and data visualization across a worldwide fleet. The role requires 3+ years of professional software development, strong design experience, and comfort with multi-tier, embedded or distributed systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years in design or architecture of scalable systems.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related experience.
• 1+ years designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable frameworks and services to automate fault detection and remediation strategies.
• Work on data warehouse analytics and time-series data visualizations across a large organization.
• Collaborate with EC2 teams to validate end-customer workloads in production and pre-production environments.
