Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Junior Embedded Middleware Engineer to join our engineering team in Milpitas, California. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of software development experience with strong programming skills in C/C++, C#, and Python, along with working knowledge of QNX RTOS and exposure to Qt/QML development.

The candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and work with new technologies in a fast-paced embedded product development environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain middleware software components for embedded and real-time systems.
• Develop software using C, C++, C#, and Python following coding standards and best practices.
• Work with Qt/QML for embedded application and UI-related development.
• Participate in middleware integration activities across operating systems, applications, and hardware platforms.
• Work with QNX RTOS environments and support system-level software development activities.
• Develop unit tests and assist with software verification and validation activities.
• Execute functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Analyze software defects, perform debugging, and support root-cause investigations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including firmware, hardware, systems, and test engineers.
• Contribute to software design reviews, code reviews, and technical documentation.
• Continuously learn and adopt new tools, technologies, and development methodologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
