The company is founder-led, profitable, and growing. We are hiring an Embedded Linux Field Engineering Manager to lead a regionally-focused team of Field engineers in Presales and Professional Services activities, assisting customers with solution architecture, design, and delivery.
Location: This is a remote role managing a team in one of three Geos: Americas, EMEA, or APAC. You must be located in one of these regions to manage the team spanning multiple time zones.

They are technologists passionate about embedded Linux strategy and delivery, eager to help customers achieve technical and business goals, and to demonstrate how Canonical's open source approach benefits emerging edge computing fields. They also focus on developing colleagues’ skills and understanding of customer business needs.
This role requires a blend of skills: strong Linux knowledge, proficiency in coding and scripting, experience with low-level Linux boot, BIOS, firmware, and embedded software development, and a passion for diverse client engagements. Successful candidates are business-oriented, collaborative, and pride themselves on team and company success.
