Job summary
Slope in Seattle is looking for a Software Engineer for the DeviceOS team, developing the operating system for advanced robotics. You will engage in full software lifecycle processes, including board bring-up and embedded system maintenance.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in Linux kernel development and experience with C or Rust. A competitive salary range of $166,000–$220,000 is offered, along with a robust benefits package.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with triaging vulnerability reports and mitigating vulnerabilities.
- Experience with uboot, EDK2, platform firmware.
- Interest in Nix/NixOS.
Responsibilities
- Board bring-up and maintenance on embedded ARM boards.
- Customize vendor BSPs for use with NixOS systems.
- Help secure embedded Linux systems.
