Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking an Embedded Lead Engineer with deep expertise in Embedded Linux, Yocto, and ARM-based platforms. You will design, optimize, and integrate embedded software across microservices and legacy components.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with C#, ZeroMQ, ActiveMQ, PostgreSQL, and regulated environments such as medical devices or life sciences, and will guide Agile teams toward higher quality software.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of hands-on embedded software development experience.
• Strong experience with Yocto Linux build systems.
• Hands-on experience with ARM-based embedded platforms such as NXP i.MX6 or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of Embedded Linux, systemd service management, hardware watchdogs, and Linux OS optimization.
• Familiarity with ASP.NET Core microservices and C#.
• Experience with lightweight IPC frameworks such as ZeroMQ or D-Bus.
• Knowledge of messaging technologies such as ActiveMQ.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and database performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of system integration, APIs, software performance, and reliability.
• Experience with code reviews, technical documentation, risk management, and Agile development.
