Responsibilities include GUI development, interface design and participating in verification activities, with a hybrid work arrangement at the Warrendale facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• Experience with C and C++ through coursework, internships, or projects.
• Exposure to GUI or HMI development concepts is preferred.
• Familiarity with GUI development frameworks like Qt, WinForms or WPF is desirable.
• Coursework or projects in software application development is valuable.
• Knowledge of SQL or database concepts is beneficial.
• Understanding UI/UX and HFE concepts is desirable.
• Familiarity with structured/waterfall processes in regulated environments is helpful.
• 0+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop HMI software for I&C safety systems and operator displays.
• Collaborate with IV&V and IST teams to support testing and certification.
• Execute tasks within project schedules and quality expectations.
• Support development of GUI, operator displays and application software.
• Develop software using C/C++ in an embedded real-time environment.
• Participate in software integration involving HMI apps, RTOS, databases and interfaces.
• Contribute to software documentation and debugging efforts.
