Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking an Embedded Hardware Test Engineer to support verification and validation of medical device hardware through board-level and system-level testing. The role involves reviewing requirements, running test protocols, using lab instrumentation, and reporting results to drive quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, ECE, or related field.
• Recent graduates with internships, lab work, or project experience are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in hardware testing and lab environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with test documentation, data analysis, and defect tracking tools is a plus.
• Exposure to regulated product development environments (medical devices, aerospace, automotive) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Execute board-level and system-level verification testing per approved protocols.
• Review product requirements, schematics, and test procedures.
• Configure lab test setups using standard electrical test equipment.
• Perform electrical measurements, collect data, and document results.
• Generate clear test reports and defect documentation.
• Investigate failures and anomalies and document observations.
• Support design verification and validation activities for medical devices.
• Plan and prioritize testing activities based on schedules and priorities.
• Communicate progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure compliance.
