Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Engineer II for a full-time role in the Northeast. You will own electronic circuit design, PCB layout, embedded hardware development, and contribute to product validation and regulatory testing across cross-functional teams.

The position offers hands-on design ownership from concept through production and opportunities to work with modern design tools. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of experience, a relevant degree, and strong debugging,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 2–5 years of electrical engineering experience.
• Experience designing electronic circuits and embedded hardware.
• PCB design experience using Siemens PADS, KiCad, or similar ECAD software.
• Ability to create schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation.
• Experience with analog and digital circuit design.
• Familiarity with signal integrity, sensors, motor control, and power electronics.
• Experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, and other electronic test equipment.
• Understanding of communication protocols including RS232, I2C, and SPI.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own electronic circuit and PCB design as part of product development.
• Develop embedded hardware and perform testing to validate designs.
• Lead product validation, regulatory testing and related documentation.
• Collaborate across cross-functional engineering teams to move concepts to production.
