Job summary

Husco is seeking an Embedded Engineer I to design, develop, test and launch embedded hardware and software solutions for off-highway market equipment. You will work hands-on with hardware, including circuit debugging, wire harnesses, PCB work, and test fixtures, while learning to collaborate across internal teams and suppliers.

You will gain exposure to MATLAB/Simulink, Git, and Altium, with opportunities to advance into broader embedded software or project engineering paths as you grow.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on embedded hardware and software experience or strong interest.
  • Experience with Embedded C, circuit debugging, and lab tools.
  • Ability to learn quickly, troubleshoot, and make decisions with limited information.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork across teams.
  • Preferred exposure to MATLAB/Simulink, Git, Altium, LTspice, PCB rework, CANbus, RTOS, SPI/I2C, ARM.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Support embedded hardware and software development, testing, debugging, deployment, and product launches.
  • Build and troubleshoot wire harnesses, test fixtures, PCBs, and prototype hardware.
  • Create and improve documentation, procedures, test methods, and DFMEAs.
  • Use tools like LTspice, Altium, Git, MATLAB/Simulink, Embedded C and IDEs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers for prototypes and production runs.
