Elan Partners is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer for an innovative embedded hardware company designing high-performance computing and enterprise systems. You will contribute across the full product lifecycle from concept and design through manufacturing support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing embedded hardware or digital electronic systems.
• Strong knowledge of digital electronics, processors, and embedded computing.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
• Familiarity with electronic test equipment and hardware validation.
• Ability to read schematics and technical docs; strong problem solving.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate digital embedded hardware and PCB assemblies.
• Contribute to architecture, component selection, and hardware design.
• Create schematics and PCB layouts using CAD tools.
• Collaborate with firmware, software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.
• Prepare functional specs, manufacturing docs, and ECN documentation.
• Develop production test procedures and validation processes.
• Troubleshoot designs and perform DV/functional testing and root cause analysis.
• Support product improvements and ongoing engineering initiatives.
