Stored Energy Systems LLC (SENS) in Longmont, CO is seeking an Embedded Firmware Test Engineer. The role focuses on designing and developing test fixtures for battery chargers, inverters, and DC back-up power systems.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of embedded engineering experience, strong C/C++ skills, and proficiency with lab test equipment. Onsite position offers a base salary between $125,000 and $140,000 with annual bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar related field.
• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Strong fundamentals in microcontroller-based embedded systems.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and BASH.
• Knowledge of board-level communications (UART, I2C, SPI, CAN).
• Experience with lab test equipment and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Participate in full life cycle of test fixture development from requirements to production.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain test firmware for system controllers, sensors, and accessories.
• Develop firmware to support design verification testing and system integration.
