Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (or similar).
• 2+ years developing applications on custom electronic hardware.
• Proficiency in C and C++ programming on embedded systems.
• Strong electrical background; reading schematics and datasheets; using oscilloscopes/logic analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement embedded software for sensor projects including new product development.
• Collaborate with Electrical Engineering to debug PCAs using oscilloscopes and analyzers.
• Work with Software Engineering to develop PC applications to control sensors.
• Create and champion hardware/software architectures for reuse and maintainability.
• Document firmware architecture and interfaces.
• Design, implement, and maintain unit and stress tests for embedded software.
• Act as SME for embedded software on production sensors and mentor junior engineers.
