Job summary

Annapurna Labs, part of Amazon, is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer to develop baseboard and satellite management firmware for MLA servers. You will work across Linux-based drivers and hardware interfaces, contributing to early design reviews and lab bringups in a hands-on hardware environment.

The role focuses on embedded firmware development, hardware-software co-design, and integration with manufacturing and deployment workflows within AWS ML server platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience in embedded development in C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Provide BMC and SMC software and firmware for MLA servers.
• Collaborate with server and board software teams responsible for accelerator management firmware and other programmable logic devices.
• Develop mission-mode firmware, exercisers for manufacturing and vetting, and automation for qualification and deployment.
• Participate in early concept design reviews, schematic approvals, offsite board bringup and lab testing.
