Job summary

Rise Technical in Mentor, Ohio is seeking an Embedded Controls Engineer to design and implement real‑time firmware for industrial power conversion systems. You will own embedded C/C++ development, run hands‑on validation with lab equipment, and collaborate with hardware engineers across the full product lifecycle.

You should bring RTOS, microcontrollers or DSP experience, a Bachelor’s in Electrical, Computer or Electronics Engineering, and a drive to become a technical expert within an R&D team

Qualifications

• Embedded C/C++ firmware development experience.
• Power Electronics or Power Generation experience.
• RTOS, microcontroller or DSP experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer or Electronics Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded C/C++ firmware for industrial power electronics.
• Implement real-time control algorithms, diagnostics and protection features.
• Test, validate and debug embedded systems.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers across the full product lifecycle.
