Job summary
Cindavi is seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer II to own firmware from concept through production. You will architect, code, test, and refine firmware powering high-performance lighting tech for premium machines. Expect hands-on design, testing, and collaboration across teams.
You will leverage C, embedded systems know-how, and MBSD/Simulink to deliver robust firmware and maintain development standards while supporting production on firmware issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required in CS/EE/CE or related field.
- 4+ years of embedded firmware development experience.
- Strong proficiency in C and embedded systems.
- Experience with microcontrollers, CAN/UART, and industry protocols.
- Nice-to-have: Simulink, MBSD, FreeRTOS, and embedded cybersecurity concepts.
Responsibilities
- Develop embedded firmware across product lifecycle from concept to production.
- Write high-performance C for microcontroller-based systems.
- Use Simulink to design, simulate, and test embedded applications.
- Define software standards and support production on firmware issues.
- Drive MBSD workflows and hardware/software interactions.
