Job summary

DeepRec.ai is hiring an Embedded Firmware Engineer to develop software for medical devices such as surgical tools, monitors, and diagnostics. You will write C/C++ firmware and perform board bring-up, working with EE teams to bring the product through test and release.

You will design firmware, manage boot and drivers, and debug issues in the lab, supporting verification, manufacturing flash/test, and field updates within a controlled software process.

Qualifications

• Strong embedded C/C++ skills.
• RTOS and/or embedded Linux experience.
• Board bring-up, drivers, or hardware hands-on work.
• Experience on a shipped physical product.
• Medical/IVD or regulated-product background is useful.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain firmware in C/C++ on microcontrollers and/or embedded Linux.
• Own or support boot, drivers, communications, alarms, and device-state logic.
• Debug hardware/software issues in the lab.
• Support verification, manufacturing flash/test, and field updates.
• Work to a controlled software process (requirements, reviews, traceability)
