• Experience using MATLAB or Python for algorithm development or data evaluation.

You Have:

• 3+ years of experience developing embedded sof tware in C or C++
• Experience with embedded Linux, RTOS development, or bare met al firm ware
• Experience designing sof tware for real‑time systems or high reliability applications
• Experience integrating sof tware with custom digital hardware such as FPGA based systems
• Experience with sof tware‑hardware debugging using tools such as logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, or protocol analyzers
• Experience with configuration management, automated testing, CI / CD, and automated build systems
• Experience with sof tware architecture design, communication interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, or LVDS, and hardware abstraction layers
• Experience using scientific or analysis tools such as MATLAB or Python for algorithm development or data evaluation
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science

Nice If You Have:

• Experience working with cross‑functional teams and remote team members
• Experience with space qualified embedded systems or satellite subsystem design
• Experience with Yocto, BitBake, U Boot, or device tree development

• Experience with sof tware simulation, hardware in the loop testing, or digital twin environments
• Experience with MBSE and MBSE tools such as MagicDraw
• Knowledge of radiation tolerant computing techniques or system hardening approaches

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
