Job summary

Performix in Edina, MN is seeking an Electronics Technician to move hardware from prototyping into production. The role focuses on precision soldering and rework of fine-pitch components, and board-level debugging of embedded systems during prototype and low-volume production.

You will use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters; assemble robotic systems; and maintain clear test procedures and build notes.

Qualifications

• Three years of hands-on hardware experience in manufacturing or R&D
• Associate degree or equivalent training in electronics or electrical technology
• Familiarity with IPC workmanship standards preferred

Responsibilities

• Hand-solder and rework fine-pitch SMT components to prototype/low-volume builds
• Debug embedded boards with scopes, analyzers, and meters
• Assemble and bring up small robotic systems in R&D and production
• Document procedures and test records for reproducibility
